About The Position
Autism Center of Excellence is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a consistent after-school in-home ABA therapy opportunity in Norfolk, VA 23508. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic RBT who is passionate about helping children with autism build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through high-quality ABA therapy. This is an excellent opportunity for an RBT seeking stable weekday afternoon hours, supportive BCBA leadership, and meaningful one-on-one work that makes a difference every day.
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Prior ABA or child-related experience required
- Must be comfortable providing services in-home
- Reliable transportation required
- Strong communication and professionalism required
- Must be dependable, patient, and team-oriented
- Passion for working with children with autism and developmental needs
Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy services in the client’s home
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies under BCBA supervision
- Collect and record session data accurately
- Support development of communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and professional therapy environment
- Collaborate with supervisors regarding client progress and treatment implementation
