Registered Behavior Technician (BT)
About The Position
An Active RBT Certification with the BACB is required for this position. This is a PART-TIME role with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 12-8pm, requiring afternoon and evening availability. The work setting can be in-home or in-clinic. Compensation is $24–$25 per hour. If you love working with children and want a meaningful career, this role is a great fit for you! You’ll support children in developing communication, problem-solving, and social skills. We’re hiring entry-level candidates as well as certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are ready to grow their careers.
Requirements
- Active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification is required for this position.
- If you do not have an RBT/ABAT/OR BCAT certification, you must complete a 40-hour RBT training course prior to employment.
- Must maintain an active RBT/ABAT/BCAT as a requirement for continued employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- This job requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- This job requires a CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- This job requires a TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella Immunization, and a Pre-employment Physical (within the past year).
- This job requires a background check (FBI & DOJ)
Nice To Haves
- Candidates with an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification.
- Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus!
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients
Responsibilities
- Delivering one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
- Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collecting and recording data on client progress accurately
- Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support
- Participating in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions
