Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT)
About The Position
HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our fun, supportive, and growing ABA team in Fort Hood, TX. Our RBTs are supervised by experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who are committed to mentorship, collaboration, and quality care. Our ABA program embraces a play-based, assent-based, child-led approach, focusing on building trusting relationships and meaningful engagement. We use Natural Environment Teaching (NET) strategies and individualized programming based on each child's unique strengths and needs. We foster a collaborative team culture where questions, ideas, and growth are encouraged. Whether you're new to ABA or an experienced RBT, you'll receive the guidance and support needed to thrive in your role. Requirements
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
- Ability to implement ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data collection skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and quality care
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing client needs
- Willingness to learn, grow, and participate in ongoing training and supervision
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in ABA, mental health, education, child development, childcare, or related fields preferred
- RBT certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and group ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior support strategies
- Use teaching methods such as Natural Environment Teaching (NET) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT)
- Help children build communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills
- Record behavioral data and session notes accurately
- Complete documentation in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records to support treatment progress
- Work closely with BCBAs, caregivers, and other therapy professionals
- Support caregiver training as directed by your BCBA
- Share observations and communicate client progress
- Follow HIPAA, ethical guidelines, and company policies
- Maintain RBT certification or actively work toward certification
- Participate in supervision, training, and ongoing feedback sessions
- Set up therapy materials and session spaces
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Follow all safety and behavior support procedures
- Attend required training and professional development activities
- Accept coaching and feedback with a growth mindset
- Represent HealthPRO Pediatrics professionally with clients, families, and coworkers
