About The Position

Bee Wise Behavior provides services to children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Each child has a treatment team consisting of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a behavior therapist. The organization uses evidence-based interventions and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to help clients reach their potential. The Registered Behavior Technician implements individualized ABA programming and treatment plans under BCBA supervision, provides direct client services, and supports progress toward individualized goals. The role may include additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Must pass a background check.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Proficiency in ABA principles and strategies.
Maintain professionalism in client home and school environments.

Nice To Haves

RBT certification preferred.
Associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized ABA programming under BCBA supervision.
Carry out behavior intervention plans directly with clients using ABA interventions.
Implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
Apply ABA principles to address behavioral challenges and promote positive behavior change.
Teach skills using discrete trial teaching and natural environment teaching, modifying instruction as needed.
Attend regular meetings, training, and opportunities to stay current on ABA best practices.
Collect data on client behaviors and skills and write session notes within the appropriate timeline.
Provide clinical services to support client progress.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
