About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join their Pediatric Developmental Medicine team in Nashville, Tennessee. This full-time position involves providing direct treatment and behavior analysis services to young autistic children under the close supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). The role is part of a multidisciplinary team focused on early intervention services. Therapy is delivered in a clinic setting and at VUMC child-care facilities, utilizing a naturalistic and play-based model. The position requires active engagement in play with young children and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Requirements

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential or eligibility to become an RBT.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to learn intervention techniques.
Ability to respond to feedback regarding performance.
Ability to work professionally and respectfully with families and other team members.
Bachelor's degree.
Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in delivering behavior analysis services.
Provide direct treatment to clients under the direction and close supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Provide 1:1 ABA services.
