About The Position

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) play a vital role in the lives of individuals with autism. Using techniques proven through the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), RBTs work one-on-one with children to reduce, redirect, and eliminate challenging behaviors. ABA impacts children by helping them communicate and complete basic and advanced life skills, and it impacts families by providing them with a way to truly connect with their child. KNR Therapy provides in-depth, comprehensive training, helps employees achieve their RBT certification, and sets them up for success with ongoing training, support, and supervision. The work of an RBT is not always easy, but in this role, you will change lives.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience working with children.
  • Have reliable transportation to ensure punctual attendance.
  • Successful completion of a Level 2 Background check, reference check, and driver’s license check.
  • Be able to climb stairs, run, engage in gross motor activities, and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for a minimum of 1 hour duration.
  • Perform with regular and punctual attendance as it is an essential function of this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ABA is not required, as training and certification assistance are provided.
