About The Position
Autism Center of Excellence is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a part-time ABA therapy opportunity in Virginia Beach, VA. This role includes both clinic-based and in-home services and is ideal for an RBT who is compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping children with autism build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through high-quality ABA therapy. At Autism COE, our RBTs are supported by collaborative leadership, involved BCBAs, and operational teams focused on helping employees succeed while delivering meaningful care to children and families.
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Prior ABA experience required
- Must be comfortable working in both clinic and home settings
- Reliable transportation required
- Strong communication and professionalism required
- Must be dependable, patient, and team-oriented
- Passion for working with children with autism and developmental needs
Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy services under BCBA supervision
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies
- Collect and record session data accurately
- Support development of communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and professional therapy environment
- Collaborate with supervisors regarding client progress and treatment implementation
