About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Registered Behavior Technician to support students with behavioral and developmental needs in a K–12 school setting in Aurora, Colorado, for the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves implementing individualized behavior plans, collecting data, and collaborating with school teams. It is open to both new and experienced RBTs who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in students’ lives. The position offers a steady school-year schedule and pay of up to $30 per hour. Employment is W-2, with liability insurance included. Benefits apply to employees working 0.8 FTE or above after a short waiting period. Requirements

Active RBT certification, or willingness to obtain it before starting.
High school diploma.
Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred.
School-based or ABA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA.
Provide one-to-one or small-group behavioral support to students.
Collect and track data on student progress and behaviors.
Support students’ social, emotional, and communication skills.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.
Assist with classroom management and behavior strategies.
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
