About The Position

Myers Assessment and Therapeutic Services (MATS) is hiring experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our Complex Behavior Program working with adolescents and young adults (ages 12–28) with severe challenging behaviors. This role is ideal for experienced RBTs who want to grow clinically, gain experience with complex behavior cases, and work closely with BCBAs in a highly supportive environment. We are looking for confident, compassionate, and skilled technicians who can remain calm during high-intensity situations and are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges.

Requirements

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
At least 1–2 years of ABA or behavior therapy experience
Experience working with autism or developmental disabilities
Ability to manage challenging behaviors safely
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass background check
Willingness to obtain SafetyCare training (provided)

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, ABA, Special Education, or related field
Experience with CentralReach
Experience working with adolescents or young adults
Experience with severe behavior programs

Responsibilities

Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by a BCBA
Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions
Teach communication, social, and adaptive living skills
Use evidence-based ABA strategies such as Functional Communication Training (FCT) Differential Reinforcement Antecedent interventions
Safely manage behaviors including Aggression Self-injurious behavior (SIB) Elopement Property destruction
Collect behavioral data during sessions using CentralReach or similar systems
Communicate client progress with BCBAs and the clinical team
