About The Position

Apollo Behavior is a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence seeking aspiring and experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior therapists to join their team in Canton, Georgia. Therapists help children with autism achieve their full potential through a center-focused applied behavior analysis program in the metro Atlanta area. The company is dedicated to providing a phenomenal clinical and work environment, ensuring team members have the resources to succeed. BCBAs have manageable caseloads, and RBTs receive competitive pay and excellent ongoing training. Apollo Behavior fosters a fun, collaborative, non-bureaucratic culture with a focus on work-life balance. All therapists become RBTs within 2-4 weeks of joining, providing one-on-one therapy based on scientific principles of applied behavior to children with autism, primarily in a clinic-based setting. Requirements

  • High school diploma or higher with a desire to learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Basic understanding of technology (such as iPads and Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to be coached and a desire to be a role model for young children
  • Physically able to respond quickly from any position, walk quickly, jog, or run short distances, stand up on feet for a minimum 15 mins, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to safely perform essential job functions in environments with potential allergens (including certain foods, scents, cleaning products, and environmental factors like dust, pollen, pet dander) or provide documentation for reasonable accommodation requests

Responsibilities

  • Implementing treatment goals and behavior intervention plans under the direction of Behavior Analysts
  • Data collection throughout the day
  • Providing 1:1 therapy to children with autism
  • Provide feedback regarding client progress to a Case Supervisor
  • Writing summaries about working with the child and progress
