About The Position

Apollo Behavior is a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence seeking aspiring RBTs and experienced behavior therapists/RBTs to join their team in Austell, Georgia. Therapists help children with autism achieve their full potential in a center-focused applied behavior analysis program in the metro Atlanta area. The company is dedicated to providing a phenomenal clinical and work environment, hiring the best team members, and offering resources for their and clients' success. BCBAs have low billable hour requirements and manageable caseloads, while RBTs are well paid and receive excellent ongoing training. Apollo Behavior fosters a fun, collaborative, non-bureaucratic culture and promotes a healthy work-life balance. All therapists become RBTs within 2-4 weeks of joining. As an RBT, the role involves providing one-on-one therapy based on the scientific principles of applied behavior to children with autism, primarily in a clinic-based setting. Requirements

  • Someone with a high school diploma or higher with a desire to learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Someone with basic understanding of technology (such as iPads and Microsoft Office)
  • Someone who can be coached and wants to be a role model for young children
  • Someone physically able to respond quickly from any position, walk quickly, jog, or run short distances, stand up on feet for a minimum 15 mins, and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Implementing treatment goals and behavior intervention plans under the direction of Behavior Analysts
  • Data collection throughout the day
  • Providing 1:1 therapy to children with autism
  • Provide feedback regarding client progress to a Case Supervisor
  • Writing summaries about working with the child and progress
