About The Position

WI-Treffert Center Worker Type: Regular Job Summary: Facilitates daily schedule in center-based treatment classroom, including leading age-appropriate lesson plans. Supports and provides direct RBT Services (behavioral intervention using Applied Behavior Analysis and Early Start Denver Model) in a center-based setting.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Six months working in a Registered Behavior Technician or Behavioral Treatment Technician role
  • Frequent reaching, sitting, standing and walking.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
  • Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Occasional driving.
  • Rare repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements and squatting.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with peers to design, create, and implement classroom lesson plans.
  • Supports direct service staff in their classrooms to provide high quality and ethical services.
  • Provides reports, program updates, and other information as requested to clinical supervisors and team members for all clients in their classroom.
  • Assists with team meetings.
  • Develops and maintains therapeutic relationships with clients and families, working collaboratively in a team-focused approach.
  • Ensures accurate and timely documentation consistent with all contracts, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Ensures all paperwork and procedures are in compliance with policies, procedures, and operating practices.
  • Provides therapeutic services to clients independently, and with a team, creatively, and competently as directed by clinical supervisors.
  • Supports and assists in training treatment team members.
  • Complies with the current BACB RBT Handbook and Ethics Code
  • May provide input for hiring, training, leading, and evaluating staff.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
