About The Position
Blue Bird Day, a leading specialized intensive pediatric therapeutic day program, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinic-based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our multidisciplinary team of top therapists in Chicago, IL. This is an opportunity to provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative, innovative environment designed to help children thrive. As an RBT at Blue Bird Day, you will provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. You'll foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth.
Requirements
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy
- Experience working with children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs
- Ability to collect data on programming
- Ability to implement evidence-based intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to document progress and communicate with families

Responsibilities
- Providing individualized therapy
- Collecting data on programming
- Implementing evidence-based intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Collaborating daily with physical, occupational, and speech therapists, and social workers
- Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care
