About The Position
Port Pirie Regional Health Service (PPRHS) is a 52-bed acute facility delivering a comprehensive range of services, including emergency care, peri-operative services, renal dialysis, chemotherapy, birthing services, outpatient services, and acute medical and surgical care. With over 15,000 Emergency Department presentations annually, alongside surgical and direct admissions across all age groups, PPRHS is supported by an onsite medical team, SA Pharmacy, SA Pathology, SA Dental Service, and SA Medical Imaging. Requirements
- Registration or eligibility for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Undergo employment screening.
- Meet immunisation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a comprehensive range of services including emergency care, peri-operative services, renal dialysis, chemotherapy, birthing services, outpatient services, and acute medical and surgical care.
- Provide care to patients across all age groups.
- Collaborate with an onsite medical team, SA Pharmacy, SA Pathology, SA Dental Service, and SA Medical Imaging.
- Contribute to a workplace culture of teamwork, collaboration, and inclusivity.
- Support staff, foster professional growth, and build strong connections with colleagues and the wider community.
