About The Position
Port Pirie Regional Health Service (PPRHS) is a 52-bed acute facility delivering a comprehensive range of services including emergency care, perioperative services, renal dialysis, chemotherapy, birthing services, outpatient services, and acute medical and surgical care. The facility handles over 15,000 Emergency Department presentations annually and supports surgical and direct admissions across all age groups. PPRHS is supported by an onsite medical team, SA Pharmacy, SA Pathology, SA Dental Service, and SA Medical Imaging. Requirements
- Registration or eligibility for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Undergo employment screening.
- Meet immunisation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care.
- Offer perioperative services.
- Administer renal dialysis.
- Provide chemotherapy.
- Assist with birthing services.
- Deliver outpatient services.
- Provide acute medical and surgical care.
