About The Position
Kara House is a 25-bed Residential Aged Care Facility located on the grounds of Clare Hospital, in the heart of the Clare Valley. The facility is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Direct Care Workers, who collaborate to provide high-quality, person-centred care. We value our dedicated team of compassionate, caring, and highly skilled professionals, including staff and volunteers, who support the health, wellbeing, and independence of our residents. Requirements
- Registration or eligibility for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Undergo employment screening.
- Meet immunisation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Direct Care Workers.
- Support the health, wellbeing, and independence of residents.
- Provide companionship, encouragement, and meaningful engagement to residents.
