About The Position

Burra Hospital is a small but vital rural health service located in the picturesque township of Burra, South Australia. It offers 5 acute inpatient beds and 16 MPS aged care beds, providing services such as 24-hour accident and emergency care, acute inpatient care, palliative care, and residential aged care. Requirements

• Registration or eligibility for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Undergo employment screening.
• Meet immunisation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct care to acute patients.
• Plan and deliver direct care to residential aged care residents.
• Plan and deliver direct care to patients presenting to the emergency department.
