This job is responsible for leading and supporting employees through onboarding and core programs and upskill programs. Key responsibilities include identifying effective behaviors, implementing management routines, and tools/resources to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the Academy experience. Job expectations include partnering with leadership to drive employee development and increase speed to proficiency through virtual/in-person skill development, practice sessions, simulator workshops, knowledge assessments, and one-on-one coaching. This role is responsible for coaching and supporting candidates through the securities licensing journey, including preparation for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, Series 66, and other required regulatory examinations. The Registered Academy Manager monitors candidate progress, identifies performance risks, and implements strategies to strengthen exam readiness, improve licensing outcomes, and accelerate speed-to-role productivity. A key focus of the role is creating an engaging candidate experience through proactive communication, structured check-ins, study plan support, office hours, exam readiness discussions, and timely guidance. The Registered Academy Manager helps candidates stay accountable, navigate challenges, build confidence, and remain connected to the resources and routines that enable successful licensing outcomes. Registered Academy Managers partner closely with team managers, market leaders, and stakeholders across Consumer Investments, Merrill, and Private Bank to deliver individualized coaching, performance reporting, risk mitigation, and candidate engagement throughout the licensing process.
