About The Position

Crawford Electric Supply is seeking a Regional Warehouse Manager to support warehouse and fleet execution, inventory accuracy, operational consistency, system adoption, and continuous improvement across assigned branches or regional warehouse operations. This role involves partnering closely with branch leadership, operations teams, inventory teams, and support functions to enhance warehouse performance, strengthen process compliance, and support scalable growth across the network. Requirements

Ability to effectively present information to top management and speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors or employees.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure documents.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, legal documents or governmental regulations
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; compute rate, ratio and draw and interpret graphs
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in order to solve practical problems where only limited information and standardization exists.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram or schedule form.
Ability to travel as needed.
A minimum of 5 years as a Regional Operations Manager
Knowledge of Distribution, Inventory Control, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Sales.
Extensive knowledge of network system, Strong Leadership skills, Strong Organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

A 4-Year College Degree in Business Management is preferred or equivalent industry-related experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and support inventory accuracy and control initiatives, including cycle counts, inventory adjustments, RGAs, slotting optimization, and related inventory improvement processes.
Monitor inventory-related performance metrics and partner with branch leadership to identify gaps, develop corrective actions, and improve inventory integrity.
Assist in documenting, communicating, and reinforcing standard operating procedures related to inventory control and warehouse compliance.
Provide warehouse operations oversight through daily operational support, queue management, process audits, surveillance review, and follow-up on warehouse execution opportunities.
Drive process and network optimization through continuous improvement efforts, ship-via analysis, transfer network design, capacity planning, and identification of opportunities to improve efficiency, service, and consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse productivity, service levels, operational efficiency, and overall execution.
Serve as a regional resource and subject matter partner for branch warehouse teams, helping ensure consistent execution of Crawford operational standards.
Support systems, technology, and access management by assisting with warehouse & fleet related software training, user access needs, issue resolution, process adoption, and new technology rollouts.
Monitor operational performance and partner with branch leadership to identify process gaps, develop corrective actions, and support sustainable continuous improvement efforts.
Assist in documenting, communicating, and reinforcing standard operating procedures related to warehouse processes, systems usage, and operational compliance.
Partner with Quality & Operations leadership to support standardized quality programs, operational audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across assigned locations.
Assist branches in identifying, documenting, and resolving operational issues through root-cause analysis, corrective actions & follow-up activities designed to prevent issue recurrence.
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Eclipse, Innovo, Fleetio, Miti & Samsara.
Partner with branch and operations leadership to provide onboarding, associate development, process reinforcement, and warehouse best-practice coaching.
Support driver performance through scorecard reviews, ride-alongs, driver observations, coaching discussions, onboarding support, and partnership with branch leadership to reinforce accountability and performance expectations.
Partner with branch leadership and Human Resources to identify performance concerns, support corrective action processes, document coaching activities, and reinforce compliance with company policies and operational standards.
Assist with driver development initiatives, including mentoring, route certification, delivery quality reviews, customer service coaching, performance improvement activities, and driver recognition programs.
Assist branches in optimizing route execution through route review, delivery exception management, dispatch coordination, delivery issue resolution, driver scheduling support, and capacity balancing initiatives designed to improve service and efficiency.
Monitor delivery performance and partner with branch leadership to identify service gaps, investigate recurring delivery challenges, and develop sustainable corrective actions that improve operational consistency and customer experience.
Support fleet readiness and asset reliability by reinforcing pre-trip and post-trip inspection processes, monitoring vehicle condition, verifying defect reporting and repair completion, and coordinating with established fleet maintenance programs and systems.
Collaborate with branch, transportation, safety, and operations leadership to improve delivery productivity, fleet utilization, service levels, and overall operational execution across supported locations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse safety, regulatory compliance, and operational execution.
Partner with local operations teams to support safe fleet operations through accident review, accident investigation support, root-cause analysis documentation, driver safety observations, dashcam event review, and follow-up on corrective actions.
Collaborate with branch, transportation, safety, and operations leadership to improve fleet safety, regulatory compliance, and safe operational execution across supported locations.
