This role is responsible for sales activities for Principal Retail Annuities and Income Solutions. You'll impact sales by partnering with financial advisors sharing sales ideas, answering product questions, identifying new sales opportunities, and managing assigned daily activities of their territory. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or eight years of equivalent experience required plus 6+ years related sales experience
Series 6 required within 45 days
Excellent knowledge of annuity solutions, competitive intelligence and financial markets required
Strong interpersonal skills, consultative skills, and advisor expertise are required
Must have strong presentation, and oral and written communication skills
Good training and motivational skills are necessary
Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Extensive travel and overnight stays required (approximately 50-80%)

Advanced designations preferred (CFP®, RICP®, ChFC®)

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales plans, activity reports and rotation schedules.
Works closely with Associate Regional Vice President and Internal Wholesaler within assigned territory for collective success.
Presentations to large groups and one on one in a face to face and a virtual setting, ability to provide case design consultation and timely follow-ups.
