Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area
  • 10+ years of sales management experience; in national retail or strategic account sales
  • Strong communication, influencing, analytical and presentation skills with the ability to negotiate effectively
  • Commercial and leadership capabilities
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field
  • Extensive experience selling within the Optical industry

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver regional P&L performance, including revenue growth, product mix, and profitability targets.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional strategy aligned to organization priorities, with clear actions, milestones, and success metrics. Ensure consistency across levels and territories.
  • Identify market opportunities and risks through data, market insights, and competitive intelligence, and proactively adjust strategy to drive growth.
  • Establish a high-performance operating cadence (forecasting, pipeline management, churn mitigation, business reviews) to drive results.
  • Drives accountability for performance and executive of commercial initiatives through clear expectations and decision making
  • Budget management and expense control aligned to financial objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a multi-level sales organization (average of 65 Account Executives, Inside Sales, and District Sales Managers) to achieve business objectives.
  • Assess talent and implement development plans to strengthen leadership capability
  • Champion continuous learning, reinforcing consultative selling capabilities across the team.
  • Partner with marketing, operations, finance, training, and compliance to design and execute integrated commercial strategies.
  • Influence decisions by providing field insights, customer feedback, and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate across the US Optical leadership team to align priorities, customer agreements, and program execution.
  • Strengthen the organization’s position with iECPs by driving customer-centric strategies and long term partnerships.
  • Execution of customer segmentation strategies to optimize resource allocation and growth.
  • Lead adoption and positioning of key brands and solutions
  • Monitor competitive dynamics and proactively deploy strategies to defend and grow market share.
  • Drive clear, consistent communication of strategy, priorities, and performance expectations across the region.
