About The Position

United Federal Credit Union is seeking a strategic, relationship-focused leader to serve as our next Regional Vice President overseeing our Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana branch network. In this executive leadership role, you'll drive market growth, lead high-performing teams, build strong community and business partnerships, and deliver exceptional member experiences across the region. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll turn strategy into results, develop future leaders, and serve as a trusted ambassador for UFCU throughout the communities we serve.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience within a financial institution.
• NMLS registration or ability to obtain.
• Proven success leading business growth, sales, and service initiatives.
• Experience developing and coaching high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive Growth & Performance: Lead regional business, sales, and service strategies that support UFCU's growth objectives. Monitor financial performance, productivity, and member service metrics. Partner with leaders across the organization to execute strategic initiatives and achieve market goals.
• Lead & Develop Teams: Coach and develop branch leaders across Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and exceptional member service. Support talent development, succession planning, and organizational growth.
• Strengthen Community Relationships: Build relationships with members, business leaders, and community organizations. Expand UFCU's presence and identify opportunities for growth and partnership. Serve as a trusted advisor and representative of the Credit Union.
• Manage Risk & Operational Excellence: Partner with lending and underwriting teams to support sound portfolio growth. Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and operational standards. Oversee regional budgeting and champion process improvements that enhance performance and the member experience.
