We are looking for a Regional Vice President for the West Region. The Regional Vice President – West Region is a senior operations leader responsible for the overall performance of hotels and convention centers within the assigned area. This role leads area team members in upholding INSPIRE values and culture, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service, technical execution, and team development.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with a dedication to high standards of customer service.
  • Strong understanding of the technical and service aspects of the business.
  • Excellent team attitude and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Must have 5+ years of DET experience, preferably with INSPIRE.
  • Must reside in the assigned area.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with DETs and staff in all aspects of operations, including sales, organization, venue relations, and quality assurance.
  • Mentor DETs in areas of leadership, management, sales, and customer service.
  • Recruit, select, orient, assign, coach, and discipline employees.
  • Enforce standardized in-house operational procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with venue contacts to ensure quality service and satisfaction.
  • Act as first point of contact for venue management.
  • Develop relationships and leads for new hotel properties.
  • Lead all aspects of in-house venue transition operations (start-up), including assisting with proposal phase, inventory, site surveys, staffing, and procedural recommendations.
  • Schedule regular visits to in-house venues for training and evaluations.
  • Monitor expenses and profitability for each location.
  • Oversee accounting practices, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Oversee inventory at each location to maintain quality and optimal quantities.
  • Oversee regular employee training in software, inventory/accounting programs, technical skills, customer service, and management development.
  • Monitor the service evaluation process, including responses and follow-up.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested.
