About The Position

TDAM's Advisor Distribution division is responsible for managing client relations and promoting a range of mutual funds, ETFs and SMAs through a sales and service team of over 100 people.

Requirements

  • University Degree
  • 5+ years of industry sales experience
  • In-depth knowledge of both asset management and wealth management industry
  • Effective presentation and communication skills
  • Strong interest in capital markets
  • Excels in a sales environment
  • Travel required

  • Preference given to industry accreditations (CFA, CIM, CFP, FCSI)

Responsibilities

  • Managing an assigned territory.
  • Leading and mentoring territory Business Development Manager and Business Development Associate.
  • Drafting and implementing a comprehensive business plan.
  • Creating a segmentation model to ensure excellent service standards.
  • Developing new business and increasing share of wallet within the region.
  • Servicing, managing and growing existing relationships.
  • Conducting 20 meetings a week, including one on one, group, branch meetings, events and roadshows with investment advisors and portfolio managers.
  • Upholding Corporate and Industry sales practices, assessing and managing opportunities for co-op marketing from both a business and National Instrument 81-105 perspective, taking ownership over the co-op process from start to finish through written communication with Investment Advisors.
