About The Position

At Wind River Environmental, we keep businesses, communities, and households flowing by delivering essential wastewater, plumbing, septic, grease trap, and related services. We’re known for dependable service, hard work, and a culture where people matter. We’re looking for a Regional Vice President – Operations to lead ~8 branches in a key region of our footprint. This role carries significant responsibility — for operational performance, revenue growth, profitability, and the engagement of the people who make it all happen. This position is flexible in terms of geographic location within the State of Florida, with strong preference given to candidates located in the greater Orlando metro market area. You’ll oversee daily operations and long-term strategy for your region, managing a substantial P&L and ensuring your teams are equipped, focused, and engaged. You’ll work closely with Sales leadership to deliver on market opportunities, with a special focus on growing our B2B business while keeping our B2C customers well served. You’ll also be a coach and mentor to branch operations leaders, helping them sharpen their business skills, strengthen leadership capabilities, and run their branches more effectively. This is a hands-on leadership role in a private-equity-backed business — one where you’ll need to balance growth goals with disciplined cost control and lead through periods of change without losing sight of results.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership of multi-site operations in a branch-based industrial services environment.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering both revenue and EBITDA growth.
  • Experience developing leaders and strengthening performance in blue-collar teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of operational levers.
  • Comfort navigating change while keeping teams focused on results.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience in environmental, wastewater, plumbing, or related services is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operations across all branches in your region, ensuring service quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Manage full P&L, driving revenue growth, improving margins, and controlling costs.
  • Coach and develop branch leaders, raising business acumen and people-leadership skills.
  • Partner with Sales to align operational readiness with growth opportunities.
  • Maintain team focus and morale during ownership transition and capital constraints.
  • Reduce turnover by building engaged, high-performing teams.

Benefits

  • The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $160,000-$225,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
