About The Position

Responsible for the loading, transportation, delivery, and unloading of products. This role requires operating a commercial tractor and trailer, transporting cargo efficiently, and ensuring products are loaded, unloaded, and stacked appropriately. The driver will also be responsible for wrapping and unwrapping products, utilizing hydraulic lifts, and performing regular vehicle inspections to identify any malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needs. Maintaining the vehicle, servicing it with fuel and oil, and conducting safety inspections are key duties. The role involves using weighing or measuring devices during transportation and verifying cargo against shipping documents. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds and perform tasks involving standing, walking, twisting, and bending.

Requirements

• Must be available for dispatch, away from the home base, for a minimum of 5-7 days at a time, and potentially longer depending on the location.
• Ability to determine your location using GPS and other resources, and evaluate situations in relation to the environment.
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Consistent attendance and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities
