Regional Truck Driver
About The Position
JDEE Transport Services is a Class A driver employment agency seeking drivers for Dedicated Regional truck driving positions within a 50-mile radius of Gallaway, TN. This account offers steady freight year-round, strong mileage, and regular home time while operating late-model Freightliner Cascadias. The account handles Southeast Regional Dry Van and Conestoga flatbed for experienced drivers. The operating area is between Tennessee and Texas. Drivers are typically out 5-7 days and home for 2 days, with the option to stay out longer if desired. This is a permanent position.
Requirements
- Class A license
- Minimum 1 year solo OTR or Regional Class A experience (Local experience acceptable if operating 48-foot to 53-foot trailers)
- Ability to pass a urine drug screen
- Valid DOT Physical
- Ability to pass a Capability test prior to orientation
- No more than 8 jobs in the past 3 years
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A truck within the Southeast Regional area (between Tennessee and Texas).
- Handle Dry Van and Conestoga flatbed freight.
- Perform drop and hook operations (60% of the time).
- Manage live load/unload operations (40% of the time).
- Maintain good customer service.
