About The Position
JDEE Transport Services is a Class A driver employment agency seeking drivers for Dedicated Class A Regional truck driving positions. This account offers steady freight, great miles, and regular weekly home time. Drivers looking for more miles can achieve them. The primary lanes are East Tennessee to Illinois, Wisconsin, and Texas markets. Home time is 2 days every 5-7 days, with approximately 2,200-2,500 miles per week. The hiring area is within 50 miles of Knoxville, TN, and Morristown, TN. Approximately 40% of freight may involve live loading or unloading, with 60% drop and hook. All freight is no-touch. All positions are permanent.
Requirements
- Class A license
- Minimum 1 year recent solo OTR or Regional Class A experience (Local experience acceptable if operating 48-foot to 53-foot trailers)
- Ability to pass urine drug screen
- Good customer service skills
- No more than 8 jobs in the past 3 years
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A truck for regional routes.
- Transport freight between East Tennessee, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Texas.
- Perform drop and hook operations.
- Handle live loading or unloading as needed (approximately 40% of freight).
- Maintain good customer service.
- Adhere to customer backhaul requirements.
- Pass a urine drug screen.
