About The Position

Cranial Technologies is the leader in pediatric cranial orthoses, specializing in treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and ear shape correction with the EarWell® device. We are seeking a full-time Regional Traveling Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist based in Raleigh, NC, to support clinics in North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. This role involves significant travel, with 2-3 overnights per week, and focuses on treating infants in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting. The position offers a unique opportunity to specialize in a niche area of pediatric orthotics, working exclusively with infants and their families to reshape head shapes using the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. Clinicians are considered experts in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, building strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. While a background in pediatrics is preferred, it is not required due to a formal training and mentoring program. This role offers visible, measurable patient changes within weeks, minimal paperwork, no productivity quotas, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide company.

Requirements

Certified Prosthetist-Orthotists only.
500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts).
Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric experience is a plus.
Backgrounds in PT, OT, or RN are considered a good fit due to relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
Correct infant ear shapes with EarWell®.
Evaluate and treat plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
Develop relationships with families throughout the treatment process.
Travel to support North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee clinics, with 2-3 overnights per week.
