We are seeking an experienced Regional Transportation Manager in Alsip, IL to lead transportation operations across the United States and Canada. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for managing transportation strategy, carrier relationships, transportation systems, analytics, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across a complex logistics network.

Requirements

8 to 15 years of progressive Supply Chain experience, including transportation, logistics, or order fulfillment responsibilities within industrial manufacturing, chemical, or agricultural environments.
Experience managing hazardous materials transportation, with DOT Hazmat certification considered an advantage.
At least three years of Transportation Management System (TMS) experience, ideally with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
Demonstrated success negotiating freight rates, contracts, service agreements, and managing carrier relationships.
Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging large datasets to identify business insights and drive performance improvements.
A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

Nice To Haves

Experience managing significant transportation sourcing programs across the U.S. and Canada.
Expertise with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, or similar platforms.
Experience leading TMS implementations or acting as a system super user.
Strong project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead transportation operations across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of hazardous and non-hazardous products.
Manage approximately $30 million in annual transportation spend and oversee transportation activities across parcel, LTL, truckload, bulk, and palletized freight.
Serve as the transportation subject matter expert, driving carrier management, freight procurement, fleet optimization, budgeting, forecasting, analytics, and compliance activities.
Lead transportation sourcing events, carrier negotiations, performance management programs, and service reviews.
Own and optimize transportation technology platforms, including Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), while improving visibility, efficiency, and automation across the network.
Partner closely with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Finance, Warehousing, and third-party logistics providers to ensure exceptional service and continuous improvement.
Utilize transportation, ERP, carrier, and financial data to identify cost savings opportunities and drive operational improvements.
