About The Position

This position operates multiple Veolia-contracted client water and wastewater facilities in a designated region. Its primary purposes are to cover vacations and absences at existing facilities, support the training and development of local operations teams, and assist with new-account start-ups. The role also supports the overall operation and maintenance of regional accounts and develops general industry and site-specific treatment training resources for technicians between assignments. The technician provides operational coverage across facilities, troubleshoots process issues, helps ensure industry standards and best practices are followed, and may compile data for environmental regulators. The position independently schedules its workload and coordinates with operators, management, and team members. Maintenance responsibilities include coordinating third-party support for work outside Veolia’s scope, completing preventive maintenance, assisting with minor and intermediate projects, and managing inventories of laboratory supplies, consumables, and equipment parts. The role also provides leadership and direction to operators, communicates with the Veolia Account Manager, and delivers or facilitates training on facility operations and management. Physical requirements include lifting or carrying up to 75 pounds, climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, walking on uneven surfaces, bending, using a forklift and extension ladders, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
