Responsible for traffic engineering for the geographic Region assigned. Coordinates extensively with the District Administers and Engineers within the region along with traffic safety and the RSA teams. Exercises considerable and significant independent engineering judgment within established program parameters, policies and procedures, and is the ADOT traffic engineering liaison within the Region. Manages all personnel within the unit including other engineers, supervisors, and non-supervisory staff involved in traffic engineering. Extended hours may be required. Overnight travel may be required. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
