About The Position

The Regional Technical Manager (RTM) is a member of the Field Technical Services team and works collaboratively with other RTMs and HEW Sales, Technical Services, Innovation/R&D, and Brand teams to influence the proper use and installation of HEW products. The RTM team also helps advance sales and business development through relationships and influence with key stakeholders. To succeed, RTMs leverage their knowledge of national and regional building and energy codes, coupled with onsite construction experience and negotiation skills, to influence product specification and assist in resolving complaints associated with HEW products. RTMs regularly interact with building code officials, designers, water management consultants, general contractors, builders, framers, and others. Working proactively with these stakeholders is key to extending influence for product specification and ensuring proper installation of HEW products. RTMs also use their knowledge of building envelope field performance testing (e.g., air leakage, bulk water intrusion) and understanding of various control layers to position themselves as valuable partners to the stakeholders they interact with. Additionally, RTMs support the Director in warranty development, conducting onsite claims and observation visits, and working with Sales staff who assist in responding to product claims. This location includes Florida and southern Georgia, with occasional support in Alabama and Mississippi.
