About The Position

AMMEGA is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven logistics professional responsible for transportation analytics, network performance measurement, freight optimization, cost visibility, dashboard development, and supply chain decision support. This role serves as the primary owner of transportation and logistics data across North America and is responsible for transforming large volumes of operational and financial information into executive-level insights and actionable recommendations. The successful candidate will independently access, extract, validate, analyze, and present transportation data from multiple internal and external systems while driving measurable freight cost reductions, service improvements, and process optimization initiatives.

Requirements

Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Pivot, Complex formulas, Data modeling)
Power BI (Dashboard creation, Data modeling)
Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
ERP reporting tools
Advanced data validation and cleansing techniques
5+ years of transportation, logistics, supply chain analytics, or business intelligence experience.
Demonstrated experience creating executive-level dashboards and KPI reporting.
Experience independently collecting and analyzing transportation data from multiple systems.
Experience leading cost-reduction projects supported by analytical findings.
Experience presenting findings to leadership teams.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on transportation and logistics.
Proven track record of driving cost savings and service improvements through data-driven initiatives.
Strong analytical skills and expertise in advanced analytics and business intelligence tools.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience in leading and mentoring a team of supply chain professionals.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
