About The Position

The Regional Supply Chain Manager, Fiberglass owns production scheduling, material planning and purchasing (replenishment), inventory, and order fulfillment execution for multiple fiberglass manufacturing sites. This role is accountable for key supply chain performance metrics including on-time delivery performance, lead-time accuracy, promise date execution, inventory health, service levels, and material availability supporting dealers and installers. The role coordinates and optimizes the fiberglass supply chain through key partnerships with logistics operations, customer service, product management, sales, and operations to deliver the highest level of service to customers. The role also leads the execution and optimization of finite scheduling, weekly S&OE, monthly SIOP, and capacity planning across multiple manufacturing sites.

Requirements

  • BS in Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain and a minimum of 10 years of planning and scheduling experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment, including experience building and leading teams across multiple locations.
  • Thorough understanding of supply chain management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control and shipping and receiving.
  • ERP experience, including strong knowledge of finite scheduling processes, operations, and master data.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with site and business leadership, and lead remotely.
  • Demonstrated experience with S&OE, SIOP, capacity planning, and cross-functional decision-making in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to recruit and develop high-performing teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with logistics processes, continuous improvement and Lean.
  • Strong analytic skills, and strong proficiency using technology and digital solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own execution of production and material planning using finite scheduling tools and MRP/ERP.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy in all systems, i.e. ERP, Scheduler, Configurator, etc.
  • Manage on-time delivery (OTD), lead times, and promise date accuracy to deliver highest level customer service to our customers.
  • Lead materials purchasing and supplier performance management. Partner with procurement to drive supplier excellence and on-time performance. Escalate issues quickly and proactively to prevent stockouts and quality delays.
  • Own inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and replenishment strategies. This includes managing Kanban levels, safety stocks, and fulfillment planning.
  • Optimize total cost to deliver by partnering with customers, sales, product management, operations, procurement, and others to drive overall value end to end.
  • Support the development of fiberglass seasonal stocking and replenishment strategies and freight optimization.
  • Partner and communicate frequently with Operations, Sales, Product Management, and Customer Service.
  • Support product launches, promotions, and growth opportunities. Build effective plans to support NPI’s, transitions from old parts to new parts, value engineering, and other initiatives.
  • Drive process standardization, system adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives across the fiberglass business to improve planning accuracy, execution discipline, and supply chain visibility.
  • Help develop and launch and continuously improve finite scheduling process.
  • Lead the weekly S&OE process and play a key leadership role in the monthly SIOP process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and service objectives. Provide the input required for executive SIOP and drive proactive actions focused on meeting cost and sales targets.
  • Identify supply risks, capacity constraints, and execution gaps early, and drive cross-functional decisions to mitigate service, cost, and inventory impacts.
  • Build, lead, and develop a new multi-site supply chain team while supporting and influencing cross-functional partners to drive the best overall outcomes.
