We are seeking an experienced MFM Sonographer for a dynamic floater role to support clinics in our newest and fastest-growing region across Washington state. This position involves working independently across multiple MFM clinical settings, covering shifts primarily in Spokane, WA, with occasional coverage in Richland, WA, and Moses Lake, WA. You will experience variety in your daily tasks, opportunities to continuously enhance your clinical expertise, and the flexibility of working with diverse teams and environments. A significant advantage is that this role does not require working nights or weekends, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
  • Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
  • 1+ year of MFM, high-risk OB sonography experience
  • Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
  • Knowledgeable of applied physics related to ultrasound
  • Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
  • Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members
  • Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

Nice To Haves

  • Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
  • Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

Responsibilities

  • Perform sonographic procedures.
  • Cover a variety of clinical settings, including low-risk and MFM sites, and outreach clinics.
  • Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
  • Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
  • Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out patient/fetus anomalies.
  • Communicate sonographic findings to the physician.
  • Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
  • Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
  • Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
  • Increase knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
  • Perform other duties assigned by managers.
