About The Position

The Human Resources Shared Services Manager will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll operations; lead the successful implementation and optimization of HR systems; maintain clear and up‑to‑date policies; and empower employees and leaders through effective training. Through operational excellence, technology enablement, and a strong commitment to service, this role enhances organizational efficiency, strengthens governance, and supports an exceptional employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management or related.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience including benefit administration, payroll, and immigration.
  • Extensive experience with ADP GlobalView payroll platform required
  • Expertise with payroll taxes and garnishments
  • Professional and effective communication and representation skills.
  • Ability to sit, stand and have mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed.
  • Ability to conduct computer work or engage in discussion with employees.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws
  • Assist local HR with Etime maintenance related to correcting/updating accruals, schedules, and supervisor assignments
  • Manage payroll audits and respond to request for information related to bonus, profit sharing, R&D, and Traveler's renewal
  • Serve as a primary contact for claimants and state agencies regarding unemployment claims and benefits
  • Generate reports on claims activity, payments, and compliance issues for management review
  • Maintain accurate records of claims and related data, analyzing trends and metrics to inform management decisions
  • Serve as a primary contact for courts and plaintiffs relating to wage garnishments
  • Ensure accurate processing and reporting of employee garnishments, child support orders, levys, and bankruptcy
  • Lead and mentor a team of payroll professionals, fostering a collaborateive and high-performing culture
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge in payroll processes, compliance and systems
  • Identify opportunities for process enchancements and implement best practives to improve payroll efficiency
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures, ensuring they are up to date and in line with regulatory changes
  • Oversee payroll and HR systems and tools, ensuring they are effectively utilized and maintained
  • Act as a point of contact for local HR regarding payroll and system inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards and outside vendors to manage system upgrades, enchancements, and integrations with other HR and business systems
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within HR functions
  • Lead HRIS related projectes, including system implementations such as ADP Workforce Manager, Success Factors, and ADP Rise
