Regional Service Delivery Coordinator
About The Position
The Division of Family & Community Services is seeking to hire an energetic and detail-oriented individual to serve as the Regional Service Delivery Coordinator. This position serves as a regional level administrator in the integration of initiatives and strategies to achieve service delivery goals for regional Family Community Resource Centers in the Division of Family and Community Services. The Division helps Illinois residents by connecting them with many programs and services. Through our programs, services and prevention efforts, the Division improves the health and well-being of individuals and promotes self-sufficiency and integrity of families of Illinois. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with higher level and lower-level positions within the agency. The individual must be able to analyze information from reports and observations, provide technical assistance for administrators and staff. The individual must be able to maintain the integrity of confidential information.
Requirements
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years college preferably with course work in a social or human services field.
- Requires three (3) years progressively responsible administrative service delivery experience in a health or human services organization.
- Requires the ability to speak, read and write in Spanish at a colloquial skill level.
Nice To Haves
- Three (3) years of professional administrative experience working with public assistance programs such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Cash and Medicaid programs for a public or private organization.
- Three (3) years of professional administrative experience meeting deadlines with strong attention to detail and the ability to utilize critical thinking skills while multi-tasking multiple projects.
- Three (3) years of professional administrative experience organizing, planning, executing, controlling, and evaluating the operations of service delivery process for a public or private organization.
- Three (3) years of professional administrative experience coaching and mentoring managers, receiving and giving guidance, constructive feedback and providing support, resources and technical assistance.
- Three (3) years of professional customer service experience handling and monitoring complaints, inquiries and questions related to delivery of services.
- Three (3) years of professional administrative experience performing quality control assessments and monitoring activities for a public or private business organization.
Responsibilities
- Works with regional level managers and Family and Community Resource Center Administrators in the integration of initiatives and strategies to achieve service delivery goals.
- Provides proactive managerial oversight of the FCRC’s designed to improve and maintain accurate and timely delivery of services.
- Provides managerial development for subordinates.
- Provides support and assists the FCRC administrative teams regarding staffing transactions and reports.
- Translates functions/procedures into Spanish for individuals who cannot speak or read English, in contacts with the public, advocacy groups, customers and community organizations.
- Promotes and maintains working relationships with stakeholders.
- Serves as customer service liaison.
- Performs other duties as or required which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
