For our Northwestern Europe Region (NWE), we are looking for a Regional Business Controller to lead the financial steering of our Domestic Customer Service business across BeLux, France, Netherlands, Great Britain, Ireland, South Africa and the Nordics. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director NWE, you will act as a trusted business partner to the Regional Service Director and Customer Service Leadership Team, driving financial transparency, performance and profitable growth. You will lead a regional controlling team and play a key role in translating financial insights into business actions, ensuring robust planning, forecasting, performance management and strategic decision support. This is a highly visible international leadership role at the intersection of Finance and Operations, offering significant exposure to regional management and global finance stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline; a professional finance qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Significant experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering within an international and matrix organisation.
• Proven track record of delivering complex finance initiatives and driving operational improvements
• Strong business acumen and a commercial mindset
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively
• Experience working in a multinational, multilocation and multilingual environment
• Comfortable operating within a matrix organisation with diverse stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken) ; another language of the Region is an advantage
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing international and digital teams
• Structured, detail-oriented, and collaborative communication style

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the regional service controlling team consisting of three Service Cluster Controllers across Northwestern Europe
• Strengthen capabilities, drive performance, and foster collaboration across countries, functions and finance communities.
• Collaborate closely with FP&A and Accounting teams within the Region and with HQ to ensure alignment of reporting, planning and performance management activities.
• Act as the primary finance business partner to the Regional Service Director and leadership team, providing insights, challenge and guidance to support strategic decision-making.
• Own the financial steering of the regional Customer Service P&L, ensuring accurate planning, transparency, profitability and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes across the region.
• Deliver actionable financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and resource allocation.
• Evaluate investments and business opportunities through robust business case development and financial analysis.
• Lead the development of a consistent performance management framework and ensure a single source of truth for Customer Service financial and operational data.
• Drive harmonisation, standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives across regional and global finance processes.
• Support strategic transformation projects and promote best-practice sharing across markets to strengthen long-term business performance and growth.
