This Position reports to: Service Sales Manager ABB Canada is seeking a driven, results‑oriented sales professional to join our Electrification Services Sales team in the British Columbia region, with coverage extending into Yukon. This senior individual contributor role is ideal for a hunter‑minded service sales expert who excels at developing new opportunities while building and sustaining long‑term strategic customer relationships. By delivering full lifecycle service solutions to end users, partners, and value partners, you will directly contribute to increased order intake, profitability, customer satisfaction, and loyalty. The successful candidate will take a proactive, consultative sales approach—targeting key market segments and developing strong C‑level relationships. This role contributes to the Electrification Services Sales team supporting British Columbia and Yukon. Requirements

  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience and strong working knowledge Medium and Low Voltage Electrical Infrastructure, including switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and associated equipment.
  • Proven experience selling services in a consultative, value‑based sales environment (e.g. Maintenance, agreements, modernization, engineering, digital solutions).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new client relationships while growing and sustaining existing accounts.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of your time.
  • Strong CRM discipline with Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, etc.)
  • Electrical Engineer designation or equivalent technical experience.
  • Experience selling long‑term service agreements and establishing channel partnerships.
  • Familiarity with utility, industrial, or large commercial customers, with demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior‑level and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the Electrification Services business within the British Columbia & Yukon region, with responsibility for assigned and target accounts.
  • Identify, develop, and close new service opportunities, while expanding existing strategic customer relationships.
  • Position ABB as a trusted advisor by providing value‑based, full lifecycle service solutions for medium‑ and low‑voltage (MV/LV) assets.
  • Lead strategic opportunity development and proposal creation in collaboration with EL Sales, Front‑End Sales, Engineering, and Proposal teams.
  • Develop and execute annual and multi‑year strategic account and regional sales plans, including the growth and management of Service Agreements.
  • Actively develop and support ABB’s Value Partner Program (VPP) within the territory.
  • Maintain an accurate and disciplined sales pipeline and customer engagement records using Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Monitor market and regional economic trends to identify customer needs and drive market share growth. Leverage digital tools and deep industry knowledge to drive safe, effective, and compliant sales efforts.
