Responsible for assisting in the sales of the company’s products throughout a defined geographical region, industry, or product line. Achieves quarterly and annual goals assigned by Director of Sales, including but not limited to, regional sales quotas, new product sales, customer training, and strategic account management. Assists in managing the company’s relationships with all local, regional, and national accounts. Assists distributors and dealers with the development of new business opportunities. Helps develop short- and long-range sales objectives, plans strategies for attainment, and develops sales performance standards for measuring progress. Reports progress towards assigned goals to Director of Sales. Conducts training classes, both technical and sales, for various accounts. Compiles and analyzes sales data. Uses company resources and self-training techniques to learn company sales and marketing goals and strategies; product information including technical and application; effective use of account management and presentation tools. Maintains and updates customer database.
