About The Position

HUB International is seeking a Regional Sales Officer (RSO) for its Personal Lines team in any of its Northeast offices, operating on a Hybrid Work Schedule. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving new business production, strengthening carrier partnerships, and accelerating organic growth within HUB Northeast's Personal Lines and Private Client Group (PCG). The RSO will act as a strategic partner to regional leadership, overseeing go-to-market execution, producer engagement, and national PCG alignment. The ideal candidate is a high-performing individual capable of excelling as both a relationship builder and a strategic sales leader in the high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) insurance market.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in personal lines insurance with a focus on high-net-worth or private client segments.
  • Demonstrated track record of new business production success in the HNW/UHNW market.
  • Established carrier relationships across the private client marketplace.
  • Experience leading or managing sales teams in an insurance brokerage or agency environment.
  • Deep understanding of HNW personal lines products including high-value homes, auto, watercraft, valuable articles, excess liability, and specialty coverages.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license (multi-state preferred).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPCU, CIC, CPRM, or other relevant professional designation.
  • Experience with family office, wealth management, or financial services partnerships.
  • Familiarity with HUB International's platforms, tools, and operating model.
  • Prior involvement in M&A due diligence or integration activity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and coach the regional Personal Lines new business development team to achieve and exceed production goals.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the new business pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue targets.
  • Actively support producers in identifying, developing, and closing HNW/UHNW new business opportunities.
  • Partner with account management teams to maximize cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Serve as a regional point of contact for key carrier partners including PURE, Chubb, AIG, Berkley One, Cincinnati, Vault, and others.
  • Stay current on carrier appetite changes, product updates, and competitive intelligence; disseminate insights to the production team.
  • Represent HUB Northeast at carrier events, councils, and advisory boards.
  • Build and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with all producers across the HUB Northeast region, both inside and outside of Personal Lines.
  • Act as a resource and advocate for producers navigating complex HNW placement, underwriting challenges, or coverage strategy.
  • Drive cross-line collaboration by educating commercial, employee benefits, and specialty producers on private client referral opportunities.
  • Conduct regular producer touchpoints, joint calls, and office visits to maintain high engagement across the producer plant.
  • Cultivate and grow regionally identified network of COIs.
  • Represent HUB at COI-focused events, industry forums, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with producers to leverage COI relationships for joint business development activity.
  • Participate in senior leadership meetings to contribute to department strategy, growth planning, and initiative tracking.
  • Partner with the Regional President and PCG leadership to develop and implement annual and multi-year growth strategies.
  • Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity, and M&A opportunities relevant to Personal Lines.
  • Support due diligence and integration efforts for acquisitions with a Personal Lines or private client component.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, working groups, and collaborative initiatives.
  • Champion national program rollouts, product introductions, and operational improvements at the regional level.
  • Share regional insights, production trends, and market intelligence with national PCG leadership to inform enterprise-wide strategy.
