About The Position

Maryland Management Company is seeking a Regional Sales & Marketing Manager to oversee onsite teams, leasing performance, and marketing strategy across a portfolio of multifamily communities throughout Central and Western Maryland, including Towson, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Catonsville, Columbia, Sykesville, Frederick, and Hagerstown. This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role with direct responsibility for Community Managers and leasing teams, as well as the sales and marketing performance of the portfolio.

Requirements

Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned Maryland portfolio.
3+ years of experience in a multi-site or regional leadership role overseeing at least 1,500 units.
Experience managing leasing teams.
Strong multifamily sales, marketing, and property management experience.
Proven ability to develop teams and drive occupancy and leasing performance.
Experience managing marketing strategy, budgets, digital initiatives, vendors, and online reputation.
Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Fair Housing and multifamily property management practices.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and develop Community Managers and leasing teams.
Recruit, interview, hire, train, and coach onsite team members.
Conduct regular property visits to evaluate performance and provide hands-on support.
Drive occupancy and leasing performance by monitoring traffic, lead conversion, closing ratios, and market conditions.
Develop and execute portfolio and property-specific sales and marketing strategies.
Own marketing strategy, budgets, digital initiatives, vendor relationships, online reputation, and ROI.
Monitor competitor pricing, concessions, and market trends and recommend strategies to maintain competitiveness.
Oversee digital marketing, including websites, ILS listings, paid advertising, SEO, lead generation, and online content.
Manage advertising, photography, and other marketing vendor relationships.
Handle escalated resident concerns and support teams in resolving complex customer service issues.
Assist with the implementation and optimization of leasing, marketing, and property management technology.
Partner with Regional Property Managers and other departments to achieve overall portfolio goals.
