About The Position

Amphenol RF, a global leader in coaxial interconnect products, is seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager for its Southeast territory. This remote position is responsible for managing and executing strategies to grow sales and increase market penetration within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will reside within the Southeast territory, preferably near a major metropolitan area and airport, and will be responsible for meeting sales goals, managing sales efforts, maintaining customer contact, supervising rep firms, and building a new customer base. The role involves forecasting, CRM management, expense control, and collaboration with internal operations.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree preferred
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of related sales experience within the electronic component/communication industry.
  • Experience with Distributors and Reps is required.
  • Excellent verbal, written and computer experience required.
  • Must be self-motivated with an ability to work with minimum supervision.

  • Reside within the Southeast territory, preferably near a major metropolitan area and airport.
  • Candidates in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual regional sales goals
  • Plans and manages the sales effort for the Region
  • Maintains contact with all major accounts, key contacts at these accounts and develops new targets.
  • Supervises and evaluates the activities and rep firms within the area, providing counsel and guidance when and as needed.
  • Work with Sales Leadership Team to establish annual Regional Budget
  • Provide accurate forecasting on a timely basis
  • Manage sales performance and visibility through disciplined use of CRM.
  • Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Build a new customer base by prospecting and closing new “names” in territory.
  • Reviews monthly rep firm activities
  • Confers with the internal operation personnel suggesting changes and improvements in design, pricing or policy.
  • Provide reporting and status updates of regional activities as required
  • Controls expenses appropriate to job performance and assigned territory.
  • This position supervises Manufacturers Reps.
  • Ability to travel as needed (Minimum 50%)
  • Any other duties as assigned.
