About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence within a designated geographic region across the United States. This role requires developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies that align with company objectives to maximize revenue and market share. The manager will lead and support a team of sales representatives and distributor partners to achieve sales targets and enhance customer relationships. A key outcome of this position is to effectively manage sales territories, ensuring optimal coverage and resource allocation to capitalize on business opportunities. Ultimately, the Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in strengthening national accounts and contributing to the overall success of the sales organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regional or territory sales management.
  • Proven track record of managing distributor sales and achieving sales volume targets.
  • Strong knowledge of sales planning and execution within a national sales framework.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national accounts and key customers to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales efforts with business goals.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor district sales managers and sales representatives to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to proactively address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
