We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager - Western Canada to manage and grow our ambulance sales across the Prairie provinces and Western Canada. This role is ideal for an experienced, customer-focused sales professional who enjoys building long-term relationships, managing a territory independently, and serving as the face of trusted brands in a highly consultative sales environment. Reporting to the Director of Ambulance Sales, Canada, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing all customer communications related to forecasting, quotes, orders, and product presentations—from initial inquiry through vehicle delivery. You’ll work closely with internal teams across Sales Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure customer expectations are well-managed and outcomes are delivered. Success in this role comes from strong relationship management, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently guide municipal customers through purchasing decisions, timelines, and occasionally challenging conversations related to pricing, specifications, or delivery schedules.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience selling to municipal and/or government clients
  • Proven experience managing and submitting municipal tenders / RFPs
  • Experience in EMS, emergency vehicles, public safety, or a related industry is a strong asset
  • Demonstrated success in territory management, forecasting, and consultative sales
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Comfortable delivering tough or sensitive messages professionally (e.g., pricing changes, delivery timelines)
  • Experience using CRM systems, quoting tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Western Canada

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales across an assigned Western Canada territory, meeting targets related to unit sales, revenue, margin, and customer engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal, government, and fleet customers, acting as a trusted advisor and long-term partner
  • Position and sell ambulance products including new units, remounts, specialty vehicles, and service offerings
  • Support customer satisfaction objectives, including NPS results, through proactive communication and expectation management
  • Develop and maintain accurate customer forecasts and market intelligence for your territory
  • Lead customer quotes from initial budget estimates through internal approvals and final submission
  • Manage tender and RFP responses in alignment with municipal and government procurement requirements
  • Oversee the full order lifecycle, ensuring accuracy of documentation, timely deposit collection, and regular delivery updates
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to translate customer needs into manufacturable solutions
  • Minimize customer change requests after order confirmation through clear communication and upfront alignment
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer contacts, pipeline activity, and sales actions
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, and industry events as required
  • Manage travel and business expenses in line with company guidelines
