Requirements

  • 5+ years experience or training in industrial wholesale distribution; preferably in the pipe, valve and fitting industry.
  • 3 years of outside sales experience.
  • 3 years of Management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for assigned branches.
  • Establish goals and objectives for the sales team, monitor sales expenses, and ensure adherence to approved sales techniques and tools.
  • Actively participate in the sales process by engaging with key accounts.
  • Conduct individual or joint sales calls to establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Follow up on project bids to secure orders and address any issues related to products and services.
  • Assist in the budgeting process by preparing preliminary financial data.
  • Review monthly financial reports, analyze them for opportunities to enhance profitability and reduce costs, and implement plans to improve the region's financial performance.
  • Share financial insights with the sales team to ensure alignment.
