Requirements

  • Masters in Life science/ Bachelor in Life science with MBA
  • 8-12 Years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for genomics products such as Oligo, Sanger and Next generation Sequencing in the North & Northeast region
  • Develop and execute efficient, creative sales and marketing strategies tailored to the assigned territory and customer segments
  • Build and manage high-performing distribution networks to optimize market penetration and sales efficiency
  • Conduct field visits to prospective and existing customers within the assigned sales area to present company offerings, demonstrate product value, and strengthen brand awareness (approximately 80% travel monthly)
  • Utilize multi-channel communication strategies including outbound calls, email campaigns, and face-to-face meetings to identify opportunities and close sales
  • Develop and sustain long-term, strategic relationships with key customers to drive repeat business and customer loyalty
  • Collect, analyze, and report customer feedback and market intelligence to inform organizational strategy and product development
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, prepare periodic forecasts, and deliver comprehensive reports to zonal leadership
  • Manage sales budgets, track ROI on marketing initiatives, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation within the territory
  • Collaborate with product specialists and technical teams to address customer requirements and provide tailored solutions in genomics (Oligo, Probes, sequencing, and next-generation sequencing)
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging opportunities and threats within the genomics sector
  • Mentor and support junior sales team members to enhance overall team performance and capability development
