About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager is a strategic growth leader responsible for driving revenue, market expansion, and customer value across an assigned region. This role leads and develops a high-performing sales team while working cross-functionally to identify new opportunities, challenge conventional approaches, and deliver integrated solutions that strengthen Fabick Cat's competitive position. This leader combines a strong "hunter" mindset with operational discipline--balancing innovative thinking with clear communication, alignment, and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Significant experience in sales leadership, preferably within construction equipment or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and executing strategic sales initiatives.
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to uncover and convert new opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and influencing across multiple business functions.
  • Ability to balance creative thinking with disciplined execution and alignment.
  • High level of business acumen with strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Known for transparent, humble, and partnership-driven leadership.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience leveraging CRM and sales tools to manage pipeline and drive performance.

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to travel 50--70%, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that deliver sustainable revenue growth and increased market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive, creative hunting strategies across all customer segments.
  • Leverage market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive analysis to refine targeting and win strategies.
  • Drive growth in Percent of New Industry Sales (PINS) and overall regional performance aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a diverse sales organization including Territory Managers, Sales Specialists, and support staff.
  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear expectations, performance goals, and development plans to elevate individual and team performance.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to strengthen the organization.
  • Partner across business units (sales, rental, parts, service, product support, and corporate teams) to develop integrated customer solutions.
  • Break down silos and ensure alignment across stakeholders to maximize total customer value.
  • Act as a connector across the organization, bringing the right people together to solve complex challenges.
  • Communicate openly and consistently with leadership and peers to ensure visibility into strategies, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Build strong internal partnerships through trust, humility, and collaboration.
  • Influence without authority--aligning stakeholders around shared goals and outcomes.
  • Ensure innovative ideas are developed collaboratively and executed with full alignment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and support the team in closing high-value opportunities.
  • Provide consultative leadership to customers, helping solve operational challenges and delivering long-term value.
  • Represent Fabick Cat at industry events, strengthening brand presence and relationships.
  • Establish and enforce consistent use of CRM and digital tools to track pipeline, customer engagement, and opportunity progress.
  • Use data and analytics to guide decision-making, improve forecasting accuracy, and increase win rates.
  • Monitor expenses, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Provide regular insights and reporting to executive leadership on market conditions and regional performance.
