About The Position

Tasty Brands is looking for a Regional Sales Manager who will manage sales in the Southeast Region. In this role, you will work with existing customers, build winning relationships with various school food service directors and K12 distributor coordinators. You will increase sales by becoming a trusted partner with our customers and our long-term local brokers. Tasty Brands products are high quality, taste great, meet nutritional guidelines, are priced for the K12 school foodservice market, and increase participation. We participate in all industry events, and offer products in each category including breakfast, lunch, supper/summer, and after school. Our products are easy to present and are fun to offer and coupled with outstanding customer service support. Requirements

  • 5+ years food sales / food service experience.
  • Proven self-starter and results-oriented individual.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written, as well as excellent listening skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to build trusting relationships.
  • 60% Travel Required – 25 -30 weeks per year: 2-3 days per week

Nice To Haves

  • K12 experience highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed annual sales goals.
  • Establish positive working relationships with customers, brokers and K12 distributor coordinators to become a trusted point of contact.
  • Communicate with customers clearly, frequently, and professionally to ensure high retention.
  • Identify and nurture new opportunities to present Tasty Brands products to the K-12 School Foodservice Market.
  • Demonstrate the quality of the Tasty Brands product portfolio to offer solutions to customers either on site or at food shows.
  • Provide customized solutions to long-term customers demonstrating convenience and value.
  • Manage local brokers and ensure that our products are always top of mind.
  • Support and work at K12 industry food events.
  • Leverage key sale metrics and internally provided data to drive customer solutions.
